Intro To Photoshop April 6th and 13th

Creating an image doesn't end after you've downloaded it from your camera to your computer. The "digital darkroom" that is Photoshop, is the polish and refinement most images need and in some cases allow you to create images beyond the capability of your camera.

In this 2 part workshop, we will:

• get comfortable with the Photoshop workspace
• learn about the fundamental tools
• learn about the various file formats
• learn to create and manage a photoshop document to best advantage
• learn about the various means of selecting objects
• how to use layers, layer masks, and blending modes
• Basic considerations when preparing an image

You will be provided with example images to retouch between the first and second sessoins, so you can put your new skills to good use.

This is a two sessoin class, meeting both April 6th and 13th.
